Mariah Carey is set to kick off her third Las Vegas residency at the Park MGM hotel and casino in April.
The Celebration of Mimi series pays tribute to her iconic 2005 comeback album, “The Emancipation of Mimi,” which will mark its 20th anniversary next year.
The Live Nation-backed concerts, scheduled for April 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26, and 27 at the Dolby Live venue, will showcase fan favorites from the album and other hits spanning Carey’s career. Notably, “The Emancipation of Mimi” featured chart-toppers like “We Belong Together” and “It’s Like That,” debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 and becoming the best-selling album in the US for 2005.
This residency follows Carey’s previous successful Vegas stints, including the #1 To Infinity series (2015-2017) and The Butterfly Returns (2018-2020) at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Joining a lineup of esteemed artists, Park MGM’s Dolby Live venue will host residencies from Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, and Lady Gaga throughout the year.
