The original cast of “High School Musical” movies held a virtual reunion on Zoom last week. The meeting was attended by Vanessa Hudgens (who played Gabriella Montez), Ashley Tisdale (Sharpay Evans), Corbin Bleu (Chad Danforth), Monique Coleman (Taylor McKessie), Lucas Grabeel (Ryan Evans) and Kenny Ortega (the director of movies).
It seems like the cast had so much fun during their online reunion, which can be visible in their posts on social media. Screenshots from the video call were also published. Fans can see the cast having fun and making silly faces.
“Guess who’s back,” writes Vanessa.
“Together… together,” adds Monique.
“Loving them more today than ever! What amazing people they’ve all become. I’m so proud of each and everyone of them! #weareallinthistogether,” posts Kenny Ortega.
Noticeably absent was Zac Efron who portrayed Troy Bolton in the trilogy. No reason was provided for his absence, which left fans wondering why Zac did not participate in a Zoom meeting.
Recently, Zac has prided himself on going off the grid on social media, which may explain his absence in the virtual meeting.
