The long-awaited sequel of “The Princess Switch” has been green-lighted by Netflix this week. The movie – “The Princess Switch: Switched Again” – will see Vanessa Hudgens portraying three lookalikes this time.
Although the exact details of the plot are yet not known, Vanessa’s characters (Stacy and Princess Margaret) will face their lookalike (Fiona). Princess Margaret will also come across a surprise inheritance of the Montenaro throne. The girl next door, Stacy, will come again to Princess Margaret’s rescue and will try to save day by defeating Fiona.
“In the sequel, Duchess Margaret unexpectedly inherits the throne & hits a rough patch with Kevin so it’s up to Stacy to save the day before a new lookalike – party girl Fiona – foils their plans,” says the official press release published by Netflix.
“The Princess Switch: Switched Again” will premiere in 2020, but the exact release date is not known at this point.
