The long-awaited Taylor Swift’s documentary called “Miss Americana” will premiere on 31 January (Friday) on Netflix. The film directed by Lana Wilson will also have its first premiere during the Sundance Film Festival held on 23 January (Thursday) in Salt Lake City, Utah.
“Miss Americana is a raw and emotionally revealing look at one of the most iconic artists of our time during a transformational period in her life as she learns to embrace her role not only as a songwriter and performer, but as a woman harnessing the full power of her voice,” says the official description of the documentary.
Taylor Swift made headlines last year due to a dispute with manager Scooter Braun who bought her master records. They finally came to an agreement and the singer was allowed to sing her own songs during the 2019 American Music Awards. The licencing agreement for the use of songs in the documentary was also signed in December.
