Taylor Swift has just been named the person of the year by the Time magazine. According to the rules, the award goes to an event or a person that have had the most influence on global events over the year.

The singer released two albums this year – “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” and “1989 (Taylor’s Version).” Both records performed excellently on the charts. Her “Eras Tour” also broke records at box offices all over the world.

In spite of Taylor’s accomplishments, the singer admitted that the “Eras Tour” was quite challenging.

“I do not leave my bed except to get food and take it back to my bed and eat it there. I can barely speak because I’ve been singing for three shows straight. Every time I take a step my feet go crunch, crunch, crunch from dancing in heels,” said Taylor.

The “Person of the Year” award was given to Barack Obama, Greta Thunberg and Volodymyr Zelensky in the recent years.

Congratulations Taylor!
