Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” was one of the most talked-about releases of 2023. While it may not have garnered the profits of a blockbuster like “Barbie,” it has earned much greater acclaim. Some time has passed since its premiere, and many viewers are now looking for the digital version of the film. They won’t have to wait much longer.

“Oppenheimer” will make its debut on Video on Demand (VOD) platforms, specifically on Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video, on November 21. It has also been announced that the film will be available in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD formats starting from November 22.

Among the additional materials, viewers can expect three hours of special recordings. This includes a 70-minute documentary titled “The Story of Our Time: The Making of Oppenheimer,” showcasing numerous behind-the-scenes moments. There will even be an NBC News feature titled “To End All War: Oppenheimer and the Atomic Bomb.” Interestingly, the 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray discs will feature a special 2.20 and 1.78 aspect ratio, providing an extraordinary viewing experience that was previously only available in select theaters.

“Oppenheimer” tells the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the scientist who played a key role in creating the first atomic bomb. The film is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin, “Oppenheimer: American Prometheus.” The cast of Christopher Nolan’s latest project includes Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Benny Safdie, Rami Malek, Josh Hartnett, Jack Quaid, Dane DeHaan, Kenneth Branagh, Alden Ehrenreich, David Krumholtz, Matthew Modine, Dylan Arnold, Jason Clarke, Matthias Schweighöfer, and Josh Peck. Universal Pictures is responsible for the film’s production, Ludwig Göransson for the music, and Jennifer Lame for editing.
