Millie Bobby Brown says she once considered cutting off her mom from TikTok.

The Stranger Things actress, 19, revealed in a new BuzzFeed interview released on Friday that while she doesn’t often send memes or TikTok videos to others, she receives “many” from her mom — but they aren’t ones that she likes to see.

“I have been contemplating blocking her,” Brown teasingly admitted during the interview, adding that her mom often sends “sad, sad TikToks of dogs being rehabilitated.”

She continued, “But I’ve now had to come forward and tell her, you know, ‘I cannot have any of this end sadly because I walk right onstage for something really important, and I just watched a cat be hit by a car.’”

She joked that despite telling her mom that she never wanted to be sent the videos “ever again,” her mom noted, “But, you know, it does happen.” However, the pair did eventually come to some sort of agreement.

“And I’m like, ‘Let’s not make this normal. This isn’t normal.’ So we have made an agreement now that only happy videos…”

The actress, who began filming Stranger Things at age 12, said she is ready to say goodbye to the hit Netflix series and move on to the next chapter of her life.

“I think I’m ready,” Brown told Women’s Wear Daily of the show’s impending end. “It’s been such a huge factor in part of my life, but it’s like graduating high school, it’s like senior year.”

While she isn’t sure what will come next, she said she’s ready to step into roles beyond her character Eleven, who has become culturally recognizable. “You’re ready to go and blossom and flourish and you’re grateful for the time you’ve had, but it’s time to create your own message and live your own life,” Brown noted.
Brown has starred in a handful of projects aside from Stranger Things — including the Enola Holmes films on Netflix, two Godzilla movies and the upcoming films Damsel and The Electric State.

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things was briefly in the works before production was postponed due to the ongoing writers strike.
