Marvel has unveiled the full trailer for the “Echo” series, a spin-off of “Hawkeye.” The series will tell the story of its titular character, Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox), after she learns that her father’s death was not caused by Clint Barton but by Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), the man she used to work for. We will see how Maya Lopez attempts to reconnect with her Native American roots while also harboring ambitions related to the criminal world as she follows in the brutal legacy of Kingpin.
The cast of the “Echo” series also includes Chaske Spencer (“Blindspot”), Tantoo Cardinal (“Stumptown”), Devery Jacobs (“Reservation Dogs”), Cody Lightning (“Smoke Signals”), Graham Greene (“Longmire”), and Zahn McClarnon (“Dark Winds”), who will reprise his role as William, the father of the main character. Charlie Cox is set to appear in the series as Daredevil. Marion Dayre (“Better Call Saul”) serves as the head writer, and the series is directed by Sydney Freeland (Navajo) and Catriona McKenzie (Gunaikurnai). The premiere of “Echo” has been officially announced for January 10, 2024, on Disney+. On that day, the entire season, consisting of five episodes, will be available for viewing.
