One of the first premieres from A24 in 2024 will be the film “Love Lies Bleeding,” a new project from Rose Glass, the director behind the acclaimed horror “Saint Maud.” Described as a romantic revenge thriller, the production has just unveiled its first teaser, featuring Kristen Stewart and Ed Harris among others.
The film presents an electrifying love story, with Lou (Kristen Stewart), a manager at a small gym, falling for Jackie (Katy O’Brian), an ambitious bodybuilder headed to Vegas in pursuit of her dream of great success. The fiery love that binds them, however, plunges them into a world of violence and deeply entangles them in the criminal family’s grip.
The cast also includes Dave Franco (“Now You See Me”), Ed Harris (“Westworld”), Jena Malone (the “Hunger Games” series), and Anna Baryshnikov (“Dickinson”). Rose Glass directed the film from a screenplay she co-wrote with Weronika Tofilską. The premiere of “Love Lies Bleeding” from A24 is set for March 8, 2024, in cinemas.
