Little Mix released their new single “Break Up Song” on 27 March (Friday). As previously reported, the new track a pop anthem about getting over a relationship.
The girls released the song on their YouTube channel in two versions. The first version is just an audio file. The second version is a lyric video created by a fan.
Yes, you heard that right! Little Mix hired a fan (a.k.a. the Mixer) to produce the lyric video. The fan’s name is Kayleigh, which was announced on the official Instagram page of Little Mix.
“I can’t believe I can finally tell you all that my BIGGEST dream came actually true… I’ve been asked to make LITTLE MIX’s Lyric Video of their new single Break Up Song!!! It is such a BOP and I’m so so grateful to be involved with the promo of this incredible song / masterpiece,” posts Kayleigh, the creator of the lyric video. “I’m in LOVE with this song since I first heard it. It has been unreal. I still don’t believe that this happened to me and that I got this opportunity to create something for these talented women.”
