Jordan Fisher to Star in Broadway’s “Dear Evan Hansen”

Jordan Fisher will star in the Broadway’s “Dear Evan Hansen” in 2020. The actor will play the title role and will join the production for 16 weeks, starting on 28 January 2020.

Jordan made his Broadway debut back in 2016. He portrayed John Laurens/Philip Hamilton in Lin-Manual Miranda’s “Hamilton.” The actor also starred in “Rent: Live” in 2019.  

“Evan Hansen is a 16-course meal for an actor. The complexity of this boy is akin to climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in my opinion. I doubt I’ll ever forget the first time I sat in the Music Box to see it, and the idea of being a part of that memory for others is mind-blowing. I’m so honored to join this amazing company,” says Jordan.
