Netflix has just started filming the fifth and final season of “Stranger Things.”

After several months of delays caused by writer and actor strikes that paralyzed Hollywood in the second half of last year, Netflix has finally been able to start work on the set of the final season of “Stranger Things.” Reports from Atlanta indicate that the first actors have just arrived to work on the set of the streaming giant’s hit production.

Preparations for the start of filming have been underway in Atlanta for the past few weeks, and now Joe Keery, who plays Steve, Natalia Dyer as Nancy, Maya Hawke as Robin, and Charlie Heaton as Jonathan, have arrived at the studio. It seems that the first scenes will be recorded with their involvement.

We can expect that Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Jamie Campbell Bower, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, and Priah Ferguson will join them in the coming days. Linda Hamilton will be one of the new stars in the final season of the series.

Filming is expected to last about 5-6 months, and additional time will be devoted to post-production to refine the special effects, which are anticipated to be the most extensive in this series. This means that the earliest the fifth season of “Stranger Things” will appear on Netflix is the summer of 2025.
