Never say never! Emily Bett Rickards, a.k.a. Felicity Smoak / Overwatch, will return for the final episode of “Arrow.” The news was shared by Stephen Amell on his official Twitter account.
“There’ll be a lot of news coming out about our final episode over the next few months. I prefer when you hear it from us. Welcome back Emily,” announces Stephen on Twitter.
Emily Bett Rickards left the television series in the dramatic Season 7 finale – Felicity and Oliver were forced to go into hiding with baby Mia until the Monitor showed up and destroyed the domestic bliss. Oliver was forced to return, while Felicity and baby Mia stayed. Fortunately, Emily’s character was written off the series, but not killed off which makes the return possible.
Season 8 is the last and shorted season of “Arrow.” It premiered on 15 October 2019 on the CW.
