Katy Perry released her brand new single “Daisies” on 15 May (Friday). This is the first track from the singer’s upcoming album which is set to be released later this year.
“Daisies is an anthemic celebration of the resilience of the human spirit. I wrote this song as a call to remain true to the course you’ve set for yourself, regardless of what others may think. I’m looking forward to joining Amazon Music this week to perform Daisies for the first time ever,” says Katy about a new song.
To celebrate the release of “Daisies,” Katy performed the song live during Amazon’s Friday Live on 15 May (Friday). Apart from “Daisies,” the singer also sang “Roar” and “Never Really Over.” She also participated in Q&A with fans. The event started at 10 AM P.T.
Fans could submit their questions to the singer by commenting on her social posts or by sending them simply via chat during the livestream.
Katy Perry is joining forces with Amazon Music to bring awareness to the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund. Fans will be able to learn more about the effort and help those in need in the music community affected by the on-going pandemic.
