“Boyfriend” was written by Mabel, Kamille, Marlena Shaw, Richard Evans, Robert Miller and Steve Mac.
On Instagram, the singer wrote: “Wrote this song with the dream team Kamille and Steve Mac to remind u all that wanting someone in your life doesn’t mean u can’t still be dat b*tch. So much love to all my dancers for making this video happen with me.”
