According to industry insider Jeff Sneider, Scarlett Johansson has been offered the lead role in the upcoming Jurassic World 2025 movie. The film, which will be directed by Gareth Edwards, is the fourth installment in the popular Jurassic World franchise. Johansson, known for her roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has already met with director Gareth Edwards and Jurassic Park producer Frank Marshall to discuss the project.

While plot details for the new Jurassic World installment are currently under wraps, it is rumored to be titled Jurassic City. The original screenwriter for Jurassic Park, David Koepp, is penning the script. The film is expected to serve as a franchise reset, with none of the characters from previous installments returning. Steven Spielberg has signed on as an executive producer for Amblin Entertainment, along with Frank Marshall.

The Jurassic Park franchise, inspired by Michael Crichton’s 1990 novel, revolves around genetically engineered dinosaurs brought back to life through cloning technology. The first film, directed by Steven Spielberg, was released in 1993 and became a cultural phenomenon. The subsequent movies, including Jurassic World, have been commercial successes, grossing over a billion dollars at the global box office. Despite mixed critical reception, the franchise continues to captivate audiences with its prehistoric wonders and thrilling adventures.
