According to industry insider Jeff Sneider, Scarlett Johansson has been offered the lead role in the upcoming Jurassic World 2025 movie. Johansson, known for her roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has already met with director Gareth Edwards and Jurassic Park producer Frank Marshall to discuss the project.

The original screenwriter for Jurassic Park, David Koepp, is penning the script. The film is expected to serve as a franchise reset, with none of the characters from previous installments returning. Steven Spielberg has signed on as an executive producer for Amblin Entertainment, along with Frank Marshall.
