Miley Cyrus has kept herself very busy these days. Not only is she dating Cody Simpson, but also she will be releasing a new album soon through the RCA Records.
The new record is called “She Is Miley Cyrus” and it will hit the shelves on 23 November (Wednesday). The album was preceded by several singles (“Mother’s Daughter” and “Slide Away”) and EPs (“She Is Coming,” “She Is Here” and “She Is Everything”). Interestingly enough – songs from the Eps have been included on the new album as well.
The album was produced by such artists as BJ Burton, John Cunningham, King Henry, Mike Will Made It, Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt.
The record will feature 13 tracks. We will also hear collaborations with other A-list musicians, including Shawn Mendes (“Play with Fire”) and Cardi B (“Naked”).
Even though the record is called “She Is Miley Cyrus,” the pronoun does not point to a specific gender.
“My record is called She Is Miley Cyrus. ‘She’ does not represent a gender. She is not just a woman. ‘She’ doesn’t refer to a vagina. She is a force of nature. She is power. She can be anything you want to be, therefore, she is everything. She is the super she. She is the she-ro. She is the She-E-O,” admits Miley to the ELLE magazine.
The album will be interesting to hear as Miley has never shied away from singing about difficult and controversial issues.
