The first image showcasing Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop 4 has hit the internet.

After thirty years, Axel Foley returns to solve a new case in Beverly Hills. Eddie Murphy gets the chance to reprise one of his most beloved comedic roles in the long-awaited Beverly Hills Cop 4. The film has just received its first image, offering a glimpse of the actor in action.

Jerry Bruckheimer, the mastermind behind Pirates of the Caribbean and the Beverly Hills Cop trilogy, serves as the producer of this new installment. In a conversation with Empire, he promised that Eddie Murphy will be just as brilliant in the new film as in the previous Axel Foley movies.

Beverly Hills Cop 4 tells the story of Lieutenant Axel Foley from the Detroit Police Department, who returns to Beverly Hills after the death of an old friend. He investigates the corruption within the Beverly Hills justice system alongside his daughter and her former boyfriend.

Mark Molloy directs the film, known for his work on advertisements for companies like Nissan and Apple. The cast includes Eddie Murphy, Judge Reinhold, Paul Reiser, John Ashton, Bronson Pinchot, Taylour Paige, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kevin Bacon, and Mark Pellegrino.

Beverly Hills Cop 4 is set to debut on Netflix in 2024.
