In a month, the long-awaited live-action series, Avatar: The Last Airbender, is set to premiere, based on the highly acclaimed animated series of the same name.
Avatar: The Last Airbender is an actor-driven adaptation of the beloved and award-winning animated series from Nickelodeon. The show is helmed by showrunner, executive producer, and writer Albert Kim (“Sleepy Hollow,” “Nikita”). Jabbar Raisani (“Lost in Space,” “Stranger Things”) and Michael Goi serve as executive producers and directors alongside Roseanne Liang (who is also an executive producer) and Jet Wilkinson. Dan Lin (“The Lego Movie,” “Aladdin”) and Lindsey Liberatore (“Walker”) are executive producers from Rideback studio.
The series is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on February 22, 2024.
