It is the second month of the year already and so many women released songs. We got new and great music from Dua Lipa, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Tove Lo and many more. But recently Billboard has posted a tweet with most Hot 100 entries of 2020 and there is only one female mentioned.

Rexha quoted the tweet stating that the 2020 Hot 100 charts is full of men.
A fan replied to the singer saying that Camila Cabello is on the list, and Rexha replied to the follower – “Thank god for Camilla. I’m like yes a female.” In another tweet, the singer said – “Don’t come to me saying women should make better music. They need to get fair playlist on streaming and radio.”
Rexha also named other artists who have great songs but don’t receive the same promotion as men: “Rosalia, Taylor, Camila, Cardi….. on and on and on” and retweeted some fans who mentioned Selena Gomez, Normani and Lady Gaga.
The singer, in her last tweet, said she was excited for female songs releases in 2020.
Rexha latest release was “You Can’t Stop the Girl” from Disney’s movie “The Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.”
