Anyone who thought Dakota Johnson would dwell on her breakup is very mistaken. The “princess of cinema” is ready for new romances, and according to people close to her, “she seems lighter.”

Starring Charli XCX, Jessica Alba, and Vanessa Burghardt, ‘A Tree Is Blue’ is the feature film in which Dakota Johnson will make her directorial debut and also serve as a producer through TeaTime Pictures, her production company alongside Ro Donnelly.

After eight years together, the Coldplay frontman and Fifty Shades of Grey actress have parted ways. Since they began romancing each other sometime in 2017, the pair has been in an on again, off again relationship, but sources said that “it feels final this time.”

Amid all the hubbub around awards season, the Golden Raspberry Award a.k.a. The Razzies always stands out for awarding the opposite of the best in movies. The nominees for this year’s edition were announced on January 21, with Todd Phillips’ Joker: Folie à Deux leading in the nominations. The film racked up 7 nominations, 5 years after its predecessor, Joker, led the nominations at the 2020 Oscars with 11. Following close behind is Madame Web, Borderlands, Reagan and Megalopolis with 6 nominations each.

Following rumors of a breakup with Chris Martin last week, Dakota Johnson seemingly put the speculation to rest when she flashed her engagement ring while out in Malibu.
