Zendaya and “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson recently teamed up to shot a secret movie in quarantine. The production is called “Malcolm & Marie” and was filmed between 17 June and 2 July at the Caterpillar House in Carmel, California.
The movie was shot in secret, however, its production was approved by WGA, DGA and SAG-AFTRA. As could be expected, the cast and crew worked under strict COVID-19 safety protocols.
According to Deadline, the cast and crew had lived in separate dwellings for two weeks before the production on the movie started. The actors practiced their lines in a parking lot to observe social distance requirements.
The official synopsis for “Malcolm & Marie” has not been released yet, however, the movie will deal with social themes and issues which the world is currently experiencing.
“Malcolm & Marie” is currently in its post-production phase. The premiere date is yet to be given.
