A Florida woman identified as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35 has been charged with attempted murder and multiple felony counts after allegedly firing several rounds outside Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s Los Angeles mansion.

Prosecutors confirmed that Ortiz was the mystery woman attacking the property with an AR-15 rifle on March 8. According to reports from law enforcement and coverage by outlets including People and TMZ, Ortiz also faces counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and shooting at an inhabited dwelling.

The situation was particularly alarming because the Grammy-winning singer and her family were home at the time of the shooting. Rihanna, A$AP Rocky and their three children, along with Rihanna’s mother and staff members, were on the property when the gunfire erupted. No injuries were reported. Investigators later found bullet damage on parts of the property, including a gate and an RV parked in the driveway.

Police responded to emergency calls reporting multiple shots fired and arrested Ortiz roughly 30 minutes later in Sherman Oaks after tracking her vehicle. Authorities said an AR-15–style rifle and shell casings were recovered from her car.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office described the alleged attack as “willful, deliberate and premeditated,” emphasizing the danger posed by gunfire in a residential neighborhood. If convicted, Ortiz could face life in prison, according to prosecutors.

In the days following the incident, the couple appeared to prioritize safety. Photographs and reports from entertainment outlets showed the family packing belongings and leaving the mansion, with Rihanna later seen boarding a private flight out of Los Angeles shortly after the attack.

Ortiz remains in custody as the case proceeds, with a court appearance scheduled later this month. Meanwhile, the shocking incident has renewed attention around celebrity security and the risks high-profile figures face even inside their own homes.
