Tom Holland and Zendaya Make Red Carpet Debut Since Wedding Rumor For “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”
Tom Holland and Zendaya made a rare joint red-carpet appearance Monday at the Spider-Man: Brand New Day photocall in Madrid, Spain, giving fans the first glimpse of the couple together since their marriage rumor broke out early this year. The pair’s public outing comeback was the cherry on top to start the global rollout for the superhero fourquel, one of the year’s most anticipated releases.
Dressed in coordinated black looks, Holland and Zendaya appeared relaxed throughout the event, posing together and sharing several affectionate moments. The outing arrives months after wedding speculation intensified when celebrity stylist Law Roach, one of Zendaya’s closest collaborators, appeared to casually reference the couple’s wedding during a red-carpet interview. Neither Holland nor Zendaya has publicly confirmed their marital status, but the comments fueled widespread reports that the pair had exchanged vows in a private ceremony.
The Madrid event centered on Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth standalone Spider-Man film starring Holland as Peter Parker. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie follows the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which ended with the world forgetting Peter Parker’s identity. While plot details remain tightly guarded, the film is expected to introduce a new chapter for the character following the multiverse storyline that dominated the previous trilogy. Zendaya is also set to reprise her role as MJ.
The couple’s relationship has remained remarkably private despite their global fame. The two first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming back in 2017. After years of speculation, their romance was confirmed in 2021 when they were photographed together in Los Angeles. Since then, they have largely kept their personal lives out of the spotlight while continuing to support each other’s careers.
