The Weeknd’s New Album “Hurry Up Tomorrow” Release Date Unveiled

790views

In September, The Weeknd announced that he’s releasing a new album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, the last of his trilogy of albums that began with After Hours in 2020 and Dawn FM in 2022. Now, the “Blinding Light” hitmaker has confirmed that the highly anticipated EP will release on January 24, 2025. The next day, the singer – whose real name is Abel Tesfaye – is set to celebrate the release of Hurry Up Tomorrow with a one-night-only concert in the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California.

In addition, and proving he’s not done with acting after The Idol, the superstar is also in the midst of making a companion movie of the same title, starring himself, Barry Keoghan, and Jenna Ortega. The film is to be directed by Trey Edward Shults and distributed by Lionsgate, although there is still no release date.

Several songs off the album were teased during The Weeknd’s live-streamed concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil back in September. Among them was an aptly titled “Sao Paulo”, a collaboration with Brazilian singer Anitta, who was a surprise guest at the show. Other tracks that made its debut that night included “Wake Me Up”, “Take Me Back to LA”, “Dancing in the Flames”, “Let’s End It All”, “Run Away” and the album’s presumed title track, “Hurry Up Tomorrow”.

With hits like “Starboy”, “Die For You”, “Blinding Lights” and many others, The Weeknd is one of the biggest musicians on the planet right now. Without a doubt, his upcoming release will be the most high profile release in early next year.
