Taylor Swift’s Unedited Phone Call with Kanye West Leaks Online

Remember the feud between Taylor Swift and Kanye West, and their infamous phone call from 2016? Well… it was leaked online during the weekend.

The unedited file features a phone call between Taylor and Kanye, in which Kanye supposedly sought the singer’s approval to use her name in his song “Famous.” When the song was released four years ago, the singer objected to being called an offensive word.

As a result, Kanye’s wife – Kim Kardashian – posted an edited version of the photo call and claimed that Taylor had previously approved of the song and its lyrics.

“She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t. I swear, my husband gets so much [criticism] for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved,” claimed Kim in 2016.

With the unedited version of the call leaked, it turns out that Kanye did not inform Taylor that he was going to use an offensive word to describe her. What is more, Kanye promised to send her the entire song with the exact wording, which… he never did.

After four long years, Taylor proved that she was telling the truth from the very beginning. The singer took to her social media and asked everyone to focus on issues which really matter right now, and not the infamous phone call.

“Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about the video footage that leaked, proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recoded that somebody edited, and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years)… SWIPE UP to see what really matters,” posts Taylor.

In her Instagram post, the singer linked to the Feeding America website, which she has been donating to for quite some time now.
