Ahead of Super Bowl LIX at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, at least one pop superstar is confirmed to be in attendance. Taylor Swift will be cheering for boyfriend Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs’ tight-end, as his team squares off against Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, according to Travis’ brother Jason Kelce.
“Yeah, I think everybody’s coming in,” Jason told People. “I mean, I don’t want to speak for everybody, but I think obviously, our whole family. I believe, obviously Trav and Taylor, and his family and his friends.”
He added, “I mean, Trav always travels like, full. Even in regular season mode… he always has a bunch of friends there. It’s been that way his whole career. He’s stayed in touch with a lot of people from our hometown, so there’s always a big Kelce contingent wherever we are.”
Swift has become a fixture at Chiefs’ games ever since she went public with the footballer in late 2023. The “Cruel Summer” singer always shows up in the VIP box with the rest of the Kelce clan, showing enthusiastic reactions that often get captured on camera. Her regular presence at the NFL has ignited renewed interest in the games – especially from Swifties, the hitmaker’s largely female diehard fans.
Last year, Swift was present when Travis led his team to victory at the Super Bowl. Celebrating his win, the two embraced and kissed mid-field with the whole world watching – creating a dramatic spectacle that added to the fervor. This year could see a repeat of the same scene.
