Taylor Swift will perform at the Alibaba’s 11.11 Countdown Gala held at the Shanghai’s Mercedes Benz Arena next month. Even though the full list of performers has not been released yet, the singer will be joined by G.E.M., Hua Chenyu, Kana Hanazawa, Ju Jingyi, Li Ronghao, Luo Yunxi, Jackson Yee, Zhang Jie and Zhang Yixing.
The Alibaba’s Countdown Gala is a red-carpet event attended by many A-list celebrities around the world. Previous events were marked by Nicole Kidman, Scarlett Johansson, Mariah Carey, Pharrell Williams, David Beckham and Maria Sharapova.
This year’s event is the biggest celebration in Asia. Organisers expect over 500 million users to be participating in the festival. It will be broadcast live by Youku, Shanghai Dragon TV and Zhejiang TV.
