Taylor Swift Releases “Beautiful Ghosts” from “Cats”

Taylor Swift released the full version of “Beautiful Ghosts” from the upcoming “Cats” movie on 15 November (Friday). The track will be featured in the film and it was co-written with composer Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Interestingly enough, the song in the movie is not performed by Taylor Swift, but by a newcomer –Francesca Hayward.

Taylor Swift released “Beautiful Ghosts” just in time to be considered for the Best Original Song award at the 2020 Academy Awards (Oscars). However, the movie itself will hit the theatres later and that is why it will miss the deadline for this year’s nominations.
