Taylor Swift absolutely took the 2019 American Music Awards by storm! Not only did Taylor broke all-time records, but also she was honoured with the Artist of the Decade Award and performed a medley of her greatest hits.
Taylor Swift won six American Music Awards yesterday in the following categories: Artist of the Year, Favourite Music Video (“You Need to Calm Down”), Favourite Female Artist – Pop/Rock, Favourite Album – Pop/Rock (“Lover”), Favourite Artist – Adult Contemporary and Artist of the Decade.
Having won 6 AMAs this year, Taylor broke Michael Jackson’s previous record as the greatest number of AMAs won. Currently, Taylor holds the title with 30 wins in total!
The singer also performed the medley of her greatest hits. She started her performance with “The Man” and wore a white T-shirt with the names of her previous six albums (“Fearless,” “1989,” “Reputation,” “Red,” “Taylor Swift” and “Speak Now”). Then Taylor sang “Love Story,” “I Knew You Were Trouble,” “Blank Space,” “Shake It Off” and “Lover.” She was joined on stage by Camila Cabello and Halsey.
