Iga Swiatek defeated Amanda Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 in the final match of the 2025 Wimbledon Championships. Swiatek took less than one hour to hold off Anisimova in a business-as-usual match between the two. With this win, Iga Swiatek has become the first woman from Poland to ever win Wimbledon.

The encounter delivered everything and Carlos Alcaraz survived quite a scare after Fabio Fognini took him to 5 sets. Eventually, Alcaraz defeated Fognini 7-5, 6-7 (5), 7-5, 2-6, 6-1 in four hours and a half.
