Netflix has confirmed that Wednesday Season 3 is now in production, introducing major new cast members including Eva Green and Winona Ryder to the gothic world of Nevermore Academy. The streaming service shared a teaser video announcing the start of filming in Ireland, spotlighting key returning stars alongside the fresh additions to the ensemble.

Ahead of the continuation of “Wednesday” season 2, the streamer has released a trailer for part 2 – set to drop on September 3. In an unusual (but totally not unpredictable) move from Netflix, the streamer has greenlit a third season for its hit teen supernatural series “Wednesday” before the second season even drops. Starring Jenna Ortega as the titular antiheroine, part 1 of the second season of Wednesday will debut on August 6, followed by part 2 on September 3.
