The final trailer for “The Devil Wears Prada 2” has dropped, igniting fresh buzz as returning stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci reprise their roles in the long-awaited follow-up to the 2006 fashion classic.

Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026 got a dramatic twist this year when Meryl Streep showed up front row at Dolce & Gabbana — in full Miranda Priestly mode. She was there filming scenes for The Devil Wears Prada 2. What made the moment even richer: Anna Wintour, widely cited as the real-life inspiration for Priestly, sat directly across the runway. Gird your loin, Miranda Priestly and the rest of the Runway gang is back in action! It has been confirmed that The Devil Wears Prada sequel has begun filming and more importantly, brought back its original stars to reprise their roles. That includes Anne Hathaway as journalist turned personal assistant (turned journalist again) Andie Sachs; Meryl Streep as Miranda, her former boss at Runway, the film’s Vogue-esque high fashion magazine; Emily Blunt as Miranda’s high strung British PA Emily Charlton; and Stanley Tucci as Runway’s art director Nigel. 

After 18 years, we’re finally getting a sequel to “The Devil Wears Prada.” Disney, who acquired the original film’s studio 20th Century Fox, has announced that they’re developing the sequel.
