Sugar Bowl 2025 Postponed One Day In Wake of New Orleans Attack

Following the deadly New Year’s Day attack at the French Quarter in New Orleans, the beloved Sugar Bowl game, traditionally held at the city’s Caesars Superdome on the first day of the year, was delayed by one day. The College Football Playoff quarterfinal game between Georgia and Notre Dame eventually took place on Thursday at 3 pm, as confirmed by the district attorney of Orleans Parish.
