Jessica Pegula defeated Veronika Kudermetova 6-7(9), 6-1, 6-2 in the third round of the China Open and advanced to the fourth round.

Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka has won the US Open Women's Singles Final. Held on Saturday at  New York City’s Arthur Ashe Stadium, the match saw the No. 2 player beat American Jessica Pegula, 7-5, 7-5. This victory marks Sabalenka’s first ever US Open title and her third Grand Slam singles overall. 

Jessica Pegula defeated Diana Shnaider 6-4, 6-2  in the fourth round of the US Open and advanced to the quarterfinals. Pegula took roughly one hour and a half to hold off Shnaider in a business-as-usual match between the two.
