In her Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper Please Please Please, Sabrina Carpenter sings about begging a lover not to embarrass her and prove her (suspicion) right. The music video featured the Irish rising actor Barry Keoghan, Carpenter’s rumored beau all through 2024. Now, it appears that the lovebirds have called it quits.

Words on the street is that Saltburn star Barry Keoghan is set to play The Beatles’ drummer Ringo Starr in the upcoming Beatles biopic film. The casting is seemingly confirmed by Starr himself recently. 

Did Barry Keoghan just prove Sabrina Carpenter right? Last week, rumors surfaced that the "Espresso” singer and “Saltburn” actor called it quits. The breakup rumor traced its way to an anonymous message posted by popular gossip account Deux Moi. It comes as the 25-year-old songstress is set to release her much anticipated sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet on August 23.
