Clad in chill athleisure fits and accompanied by their dog, the “Anyone But You” star and her Hollywood producer ex spent about an hour eating together. There was minimal intimacy though – no sign of getting back together in sight – as the two keep things strictly friendly during the rendezvous.
Their reunion came just two weeks after news confirming that the lovebirds have called it quits following months of split rumors. The couple got together in 2018 and became engaged in 2022, but the acceleration of Sweeney’s acting career since then reportedly put the relationship on a rocky path.
“A lot of their issues stem from Sydney being extremely busy with work commitments. She doesn’t have a lot of downtime, and it causes tension in their relationship,” said one source speaking to US Weekly. “Sydney is really focused on her career. Jonathan wishes they were able to spend more quality time together.”
Reportedly, the pair officially broke things off months ago. Davino, on his part, is still holding out hope for reconciliation, but it looks like the “Euphoria” actress is ready to move on. Shortly after the breakup became public, she was spotted attending the wedding of her “Anyone But You” co-star Glen Powell’s sister’s wedding in Dallas – reigniting rumors of a reel-to-real romance between the two that began during the film’s promotion last year.
