During Netflix’s Tudum showcase, a teaser for Stranger Things season 5 revealed, at long last, some brand new snippets and release dates. The epic finale to the megahit series will conclude in three parts, dated November 26 for part 1, December 25 for part 2, and December 31 for part 3.
It looks like Netflix is giving their biggest hit the holiday movie treatment with the prime Christmas and New Year’s Eve releases. Since its debut season in 2016, Stranger Things have consistently topped Netflix’s most watched English-language programming, with billions of hours watched and a passionate global fan following.
Created by the Duffer Brothers, the 1980’s set series follows a group of small town kids who discover the presence of a sinister world called the Upside Down underneath their town. With a telekinetic girl called Eleven, the kids must battle supernatural forces to save their friends and their hometown.
The latest clip gives a recap of all the ordeals they went through in four seasons. It ends with new footages from season 5, including the impending threat of the Upside Down monsters breaking through to the real world.
