Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams of the “Game of Thrones” television series have both scored their Emmy Award nominations.
Sophie and Maisie were nominated in the same category. They will be competing for the award as the best supporting actress in a drama series (Sophie for the role of Sansa Stark and Maisie for the portrayal of Arya Stark). This is the first nomination for Sophie.
The 71st Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on 22 September 2019. The award show will air on ET at 8 P.M.
