Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello Are Fourth of July Couple

While Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello sparked many romance rumours over the last several years, the two of them were just friends at the time. As best friends, they collaborated on two hit singles together – “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and “Señorita.”

In a recent Q&A events in Adelaide (Australia), Shawn revealed the exact date he and Camila started dating. And yes! Fans got it all right – the couple started seeing each other on the Fourth of July (America’s Independence Day).

“We haven’t been dating for that long. We have been dating since July 4th officially,” admits Shawn Mendes.

Shawn and Camila were actually spotted together at the Fourth of July party at the Bootsy Bellow in Los Angeles. That was their first outing as a couple.
