In her recent interview with UK Kiss FM, Selena Gomez recalled the first time she played some of her new songs to Taylor Swift and her mother Andrea.
These new songs were “Lose You To Love Me” and “Look at Her Now,” both accompanied by music videos. After playing these two tracks, things got very emotional.
“It was one of the coolest experiences because I’ve been friends with her for over a decade and love her family as well. She played it and her and her mom just started crying tears and tears… It’s gonna make me cry thinking about it, because it wasn’t just about how great the song was, which is a lot coming from her, it was just that they had been on that journey with me, intimately,” admits Selena.
There is much speculation that Selena’s new songs deal with her tumultuous relationship with Justin Bieber. Selena and Justin dated for several years, but it seems that the singer is finally closing this door with her new tracks.
Selena’s new album, “Rare,” will be released on 10 January 2020.
