Selena Gomez attended the premiere of the Netflix documentary series entitled “Living Undocumented.” The series will comprise of six episodes with each of them telling the fate of undocumented families in the United States in light of more and more frequent ICE raids and immigration issues.
“A huge part of why I wanted to be a part of this is to also be a voice for so many people who can’t and are terrified to speak about it,” says Selena. “My grandparents are immigrants and to just think about the life that I’ve been given and how blessed I am. My hope is that I see change.”
Selena also served as an executive producer for the documentary series. The series premiered on 2 October 2019 on Netflix.
