Sabrina Carpenter Releases Rocky Horror-Themed Music Video for “Tears” Alongside New Album Release

In accordance with the release of her seventh studio album “Man’s Best Friend”, Sabrina Carpenter released a Rocky Horror-inspired music video for “Tears”, the second single off the album. Video for the disco-infused track, also starring Colman Domingo, garnered over 25 million views in just 4 days. Watch below!
In the “Tears” music video, the 26-year-old singer struts and shimmies in her signature pin-up girl look while singing about what she wants in a man. The haunted house opening and vibrant key art in the film are reminiscent of the beloved 1975 horror comedy “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”. True to the spirit of the film, the video also featured a lot of queer drag performers, including Domingo.
The video was released on the same day as “Man’s Best Friend” release. The 12-track album – produced by Jack Antonoff and John Ryan – also included Carpenter’s Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 song “Manchild”, which came out back in June. Here is the tracklist:
- “Manchild”
- “Tears”
- “My Man on Willpower”
- “Sugar Talking”
- “We Almost Broke Up Again Last Night”
- “Nobody’s Son”
- “Never Getting Laid”
- “When Did You Get Hot?”
- “Go Go Juice”
- “Don’t Worry I’ll Make You Worry”
- “House Tour”
- “Goodbye”
The album is a follow-up to the singer’s Grammy-winning album “Short n’ Sweet”, released in August 2024.
