Ryan Reynolds-Blake Lively Make First Public Outings Since “It Ends With Us” Scandal

Celebrity couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have been staying out of the limelight since Lively’s feud with It Ends With Us co-star/director Justin Baldoni broke out. Therefore, it came as a surprise to see them appear at the red carpet for Saturday Night Live’s 50th Anniversary celebration in New York City.
The pair were beaming as they posed for photos at the star-studded event, held at the iconic Studio 8H in NBC’s 30 Rock headquarter – SNL’s home since its 1975 debut. Lively was wearing a sparkly silver dress while her husband was decked in classic black tux.
At the live taping, the couple briefly became a part of the “Audience Q&A” sketch with Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. When Poehler urged the audience for a question, Reynolds stood up and Poehler greeted him with a casual “how’s it going?”
“Great. Why? What have you heard?” The Deadpool and Wolverine star responded with a bewildered look, to which Fey and Poehler attempted to feign ignorance. Beside Reynolds, his embattled wife whipped her head so fast to glare at him.
It was unclear whether the bit was planned, but afterward, Reynolds quickly moved on to a joke about the Coneheads, one of SNL’s most legendary skits.
That wasn’t the only instance Lively’s drama was lampooned. During the “Weekend Update” segment, Cecily Strong played a pregnant woman who got offended when Michael Che’s anchorman asked her about it, clearly alluding to Lively’s viral controversial interview from 2016.
Meanwhile, the Lively-Baldoni lawsuit rages on. Appearing on a podcast, Baldoni’s lawyer called the SNL gag a “mockery” of the ongoing situation as Lively is reportedly planning to have two more actresses testify against his client.
