The production and filming of “Riverdale” has been suspended over coronavirus concerns. According to the Warner Bros. Television, one person of the crew was potentially exposed to the virus and is currently undergoing a medical evaluation.
“We are working closely with the appropriate authorities and health agencies in Vancouver to identify and contact all individuals who may have come into direct contact with our team member. The health and safety of our employees, casts and crews is always our top priority,” admits the representative of Warner Bros.
It is not known when the show will resume the production and filming of new episodes, and how much disruption it will bring for the end of the current season.
“Riverdale” is currently airing its fourth season on the CW and Netflix.
