Maia Mitchell is an Australian actress and singer with many successful projects, but have you actually wondered how she rose to such worldwide recognition?
Maia started acting career with numerous performances in school plays and local theatre productions. The actress got her big break at the age of 12 after she had been discovered by talent agencies. She was cast in such productions as “Mortified,” “Trapped,” “Castaway” and “K-9.”
In 2013, Maia was cast in two American productions – “Jessie” and “Teen Beach Movie.” From 2013, the actress has been portraying Callie Adams Foster in the critically-acclaimed television series “The Fosters” and its spin-off “Good Trouble.”
Maia is also a talented musician. She learnt to play guitar when she was a child. Her songs appeared on the soundtracks of “Teen Beach Movie” and “Teen Beach 2,” with both albums being highly successful in the United States.
The actress recently starred as Phoebe in the Netflix movie “The Last Summer.” With a new project in the works “Whisper,” Maia has a successful career ahead of her!
