KJ Apa (born Keneti James Fitzgerald Apa) started his acting career with the role of Kane Jenkins in the soap opera “Shortland Street,” in which he starred from 2013 to 2016. He also portrayed Jack in six episodes in the drama series “The Cul de Sac.”
The actor was cast in the CW television series in 2016 after a four-month worldwide talent search. KJ has been portraying Archie Andrews since 2017, which brought him international recognition.
