Dua Lipa is an English singer and songwriter recognised for two commercially successful albums and collaborations with other musicians, but have ever wondered how she rose to such fame?

Dua started posting covers of her favourite songs on YouTube when she was 14 years old. At the age of 15, she moved to London to become a singer. Around that time, she attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School on Saturdays. When she was 16, she started a modelling career and appeared in the online catalogue of ASOS Marketplace.

In 2015, Dua signed a recording deal with the Warner Music Group. She released her debut album on 2 June 2017. It received a widespread acclaim and was commercially successful in such countries as the United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, Scotland, Spain, South Korea, Ireland, Greece, Denmark, Canada and Australia.

The album was promoted by 8 singles – “Be the One,” “Last Dance,” “Hotter than Hell,” “Blow Your Mind,” “Lost in Your Light,” “New Rules,” “Homesick” and “IDGAF.”

The singer was honoured for her music with numerous accolades, including 3 BRIT Awards, 2 Grammy Awards and 2 MTV Europe Music Awards.

Recently Dua Lipa released her sophomore album “Future Nostalgia,” which received positive reviews and general acclaim from music critics. One can definitely say that she has a bright future ahead of her for years to come.
