Dove Cameron is nowadays a popular actress and singer, but have you ever wondered how she rose to such fame?
Dove started acting at the age of 8 in a community theatre at Bainbridge Performing Arts. Since she was a child, she was focused on making it big in the entertainment industry. In 2007, she portrayed Young Cosette in the school production of “Les Misérables.” One year later, she scored a lead role of Mary in “The Secret Garden.”
In 2012, she was cast in the Disney Channel production “Bits and Pieces,” where she portrayed Alanna. Her big break came in 2013 with the comedy series “Liv and Maddie.” However, the real superstardom was yet to come.
In 2015, Dove appeared in “Descendants,” the Disney movie which brought her widespread recognition. Two other instalments followed – “Descendants 2” in 2017 and “Descendants 3” in 2019.
The actress also appeared in such productions as “Cloud 9,” “Hairspray Live,” “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “The Lodge” and “Angie Tribeca.”
Dove is also an aspiring singer. She released her debut EP “Bloodshoot / Waste” on 27 September 2019. She also contributed to “Liv and Maddie” & “Descendants” soundtracks to a great success! She has recently released a new single “Remember Me,” which is said to promote her upcoming debut album.
Dove has one project in the works now. She will portray Cassi in the psychological thriller “Isaac.” The movie will premiere in 2021. With all of that, she has a bright future and many professional successes ahead of her!
