Each year she’s attending Met Gala, Rihanna always turns up last as the showstopping finale at the red carpet. And for good reason: every appearance always brought spectacular fashion moments and newsworthy stuff. This year is no different. In fact, it’s extra special because the “Diamond” singer unveiled her baby bump – her third with partner A$AP Rocky – for the first time to the world on Sunday.
Donning a black custom suit dress and wide brimmed hat by Marc Jacobs, the pop diva gracefully cradled her growing belly while cameras flashed from all sides. She stayed tight-lipped throughout, allowing her silhouette to do all the talking. Rocky – who was co-chair of the night – didn’t walk up the stairs with her, but later expressed his own excitement when congratulated.
“It’s time to show the people what we’ve been cooking up,” he said, beaming. “We’re definitely happy. It’s good to see everyone else happy for us too.”
The couple, who got together in 2020 after years of friendship, are already parents to two toddlers: RZA, 3 and Riot Rose, 21 months.
Rihanna is no stranger to debuting her pregnancy on a major public outing. In 2023, the “Work” singer revealed that she was carrying baby Riot in her belly while performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
